Police constable martyred, 70 injured in violence by PTI workers

ISLAMABAD: Police constable Mubashir, who was injured in the violence by PTI workers on Hazara and M-1 Motorway, was martyred while more than 70 police personnel were martyred.

According to Express News, during clashes near Hakla, PTI workers tortured police personnel, after which they were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hassan Abdal for medical assistance.

According to reports, PTI workers attacked police personnel on duty during the protest, as a result of which 46-year-old constable Mubashir was martyred due to head injuries.

The injured officer was shifted to the hospital in critical condition. The deceased’s mourners include two daughters, a son and his wife.

70 police personnel were injured due to the violence by the miscreants, who have injuries on their heads, arms and legs. Police say that law enforcement agencies are committed to protecting the lives and property of the public, and the process of identifying the miscreants from CCTV footage is underway. Violent and malicious elements will be brought to justice at all costs.

Interior Minister visits injured officials, pays tribute to martyred constable

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Hassan Abdal and visited the injured officials.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi confirmed the martyrdom of a Rawalpindi police constable due to the violence of protesters and paid tribute to him and expressed sympathy and condolences to the family.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed deep sorrow and regret over the martyrdom of police constable Mubashir due to the violence of protesters, saying that Mubashir attained the status of martyrdom while performing his duty, the perpetrators of violence will be brought to justice and the responsible elements will be brought to justice.

He said that all our sympathies are with the family of the martyred police constable Mubashir, we share the grief of the family of the martyred constable Mubashir.

According to the report, the martyred policeman was posted in Rawalpindi Police and was a resident
