Islamabad: In view of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s protest, Islamabad Police sought help from Punjab and Sindh Police.
Two DIGs from Punjab Police, and ten DPOs will be on duty in Islamabad. Ten DPOs of Punjab have been summoned along with five hundred officials. Two thousand officials of Sindh and Punjab Constabulary have also been requested, FC and Punjab Police personnel will do duty along with Anti-Rights CAT. On the occasion of the protest, along with 4,000 Rangers personnel, 5,000 FC personnel will also be on duty in the federal capital. Rangers will perform duty with anti-riots kits.
