Islamabad: The PTI delegation met JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence on the issue of increasing the number of judges and the tenure of the services chief.
According to Express News, the PTI delegation included Asad Qaiser, Barrister Gohar, Akhunzada Hussain Yousafzai and others.
According to sources, a PTI delegation led by Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar Ali discussed the recent amendments with Maulana. In the meeting, the future plans of the opposition parties related to the amendments approved by the parliament were discussed bilaterally.

It should be noted that yesterday Acting President Yusuf Raza Gilani approved the bills passed by the National Assembly and the Senate regarding the increase in the tenure of service chiefs and the number of judges.
After the signing of Acting President Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, all the six amendment bills became law, all these laws have been sent for gazette notification.
The National Assembly and the Senate on Monday approved six bills under which the tenure of Army, Navy and Air Force chiefs has now been increased from three to five years.
The Senate and the National Assembly also approved the bill to increase the number of judges of the Supreme Court to 34 and the number of judges of the Islamabad High Court from 9 to 12, which was approved by the President.
