According to sources of the Punjab government, Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb says that false news regarding the purchase of PIA by the Punjab government should be avoided.
According to sources, Maryam Aurangzeb has said that on the direction of Nawaz Sharif, the government has decided to launch a new airline named “Punjab Air”, the feasibility of which will be started soon.
According to the sources, Punjab Airline will be brought with the support of private investors, in which the option of having shares of the provincial government is also under consideration.
It should be noted that Nawaz Sharif has proposed the purchase of PIA to the Punjab government, while the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has also offered to purchase PIA.
