It has been decided to provide live streaming service to all the courtrooms in the Supreme Court.
According to the sources, the live streaming services are being done under the special direction of Chief Justice Yahya Afridi and the live streaming service will be subject to the consent of Silen.
Sources say that with the consent of a female petitioner, the hearing of the case will be kept confidential. Sources said that overseas Pakistanis will also be able to watch the hearing of their cases directly, the purchase of cameras and other equipment required for the live streaming service is being reviewed.
According to sources, the committee will prepare recommendations for live streaming and send it to the Chief Justice of Pakistan for final approval. At present, only Courtroom No. 1 of the Supreme Court has the facility of live streaming. It should be noted that Chief Justice Yahya Afridi has taken oath today and he is the 30th Chief Justice.
