Summer vacation schedules for all public and private schools in Punjab, the area of the nation with the most population, seem to be changed by the interim government.

According to reports in the local media that cited unnamed sources, students in Punjab would get a two-month summer vacation starting on June 6th, 2023 rather than at the beginning of the month. It stated that the School Education Department has completed a summary with an updated schedule for the summer vacation.

After consulting with representatives from the education department, interim chief minister Mohsin Naqvi will decide definitively, according to sources. Parents and students are waiting for the official notification to complete their vacation arrangements in the meantime.

According to a previous report, the province’s educational institutions would be closed from June 1 to July 31.

The dates for the summer vacations, which will begin at the beginning of next month and last until the end of July, were revealed by the Sindh government on Friday.

Meanwhile, Sindh and other areas are expected to have another period of heat-like weather, with temperatures perhaps rising as high as 47 degrees.
