Since Nawaz Sharif was also disqualified for hiding assets, Imran Khan, the chairman of the PTI, should also be removed from office, according to Special Assistant to the PM (SAPM) Irfan Qadir.Today at 2:00 PM, the ECP will make its decision regarding the long-delayed Toshakhana disqualification reference against Imran Khan.

Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the PML-N, claimed that he had been permanently banned for withholding unpaid wages from his son in the Panama case. The former Pakistani attorney general claimed that because Imran Khan also hid his assets, he ought to be disqualified from the Toshakhana case.

The Toshakhana case judgement, according to Irfan Qadir, who was named Special Assistant to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on September 29, will have significant effects on national politics.Gohar Khan, the attorney for the PTI, expressed his opinions at the same broadcast and predicted that Imran Khan would be exonerated in this case.

He claimed that if Imran Khan is unjustly disqualified in the case, the decision will undoubtedly have an impact on the entire nation.According to Gohar Khan, the court proceedings show that Imran Khan would be cleared of the accusation unless the decision is made under duress.

He emphasised, “We hope the election commission would consider its scenario before rendering a decision.According to renowned lawyer Salman Akram Raja, according to the law, the ECP is unable to render a decision in this case as the ECP is not qualified to do so under Article 62-1F of the Constitution.

The ECP summoned all pertinent parties or their attorneys to appear before the commission at its secretariat, located at Constitution Avenue, G-5/2, in Islamabad, per a notice issued today. After months of hearings, the ECP had reserved its decision in the Toshakhana case on September 19.
