ISLAMABAD: The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) discharged 16642 cusecs of water on Monday with an input of 27142 cases from various rim stations.
The Jhelum River had a water level at Mangla Dam of 1097.15 feet, which was 47.15 feet higher than its dead level of 1,050 feet, according to information provided by IRSA. The inflow and outflow of water were measured at 45609 and 40000 cusecs, respectively.
There were correspondingly 98865, 115193, and 68190 cases of water release at Kalabagh, Taunsa, and Sukkur. Similar to this, water was discharged from the Kabul River totaling 27900 cusecs at Nowshera and from the Chenab River totaling 27142 cusecs at Marala.
