ISLAMABAD, Jan 11 (NNI): The government has reiterated to reduce its dependence on foreign and domestic debt through resource mobilization and implementing a comprehensive reform agenda.
For this purpose, it is following a strategy with an aim to increase tax to the ratio fifteen percent of GDP in the medium term focusing on broadening of tax base.
Size of Public Sector Development Programme allocation has been enhanced for public sector development in agriculture, industrial and services sectors.
Steps have also been taken to revive investors’ confidence to attract foreign direct investment and strengthen the remittances. NNI
