54 outlaws arrested; hashish and weapons seized

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police have arrested 54 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered. 2. 220 kilogram hashish, weapons and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said here on Friday.

 According to details, Secretariat police arrested bootleggers Mustaiq Hussain and recovered three wine bottles from him. Ramana police arrested drug peddles Wazir Muhammad and recovered 1.200 kilogram hashish from him.  Sabzi Mandi police arrested three accused Masan Iftikhar, Muhammad Adnan and Usman and recovered one wine bottle, eight tin beers and one 30 bore illicit pistol along with ammunition from their possession. Police team also arrested two afghan nations namely Faryadullah and Khanzada. Police team   Sabzi Mandi Police arrested 44 accused on blocking road by erecting encroachments. Shehzad Town police arrested accused Khalid Khan and recovered one 30 bore illicit pistol along with ammunition from him. CIA police arrested drug peddlers Tahir Raza and recovered 1.20 kilogram hashish from him. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.  SSP Islamabad AsmatUllah Junejo has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to accelerate their efforts to curb activities of anti-social elements.
