LAHORE: The district administration in its ongoing drive against child labour on Saturday raided two brick kilns in Batapur area of the provincial capital and rescued 40 children, besides arresting two accused.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations, Dr. Haider Ashraf and District Coordination Officer (DCO) Lahore, Usman supervised the operation carried out by a police heavy contingent and sealed the brick kilns from where child labourers were rescued.
