4 policemen gunned down in Balochistan

QUETTA: Terrorists gunned down at least four police officials in Pashtonabad, Quetta.  According to Police, the police van was on routine patrolling when four terrorists opened fire.

The policemen got severely injured and later succumbed to wounds on their way to hospital. Sarfaraz Bugti, Chief Minister of Balochistan vows to capture the culprits behind this incident. Police cordoned off the area and started a search operation.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif strongly condemned the attack on a police vehicle in Pashtoonabad, Quetta in which four police personnel lost their lives. While extending condolences to the bereaved families who lost their lives in this tragic incident, he said such incidents cannot weaken government’s resolve in eliminating the menace of terrorism and extremism.

He directed the authorities to apprehend the perpetrators of this heinous crime at the earliest. DNA
