4 dead as house catches fire due to short circuit in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: Four members of same family including a woman and her three children were burnt to death when a house caught fire due to short circuit in Basin Line area of Milat Town here on late Monday night.

According to sources, the family was sleeping in the house when the fire erupted inside room of the house of Manzoor which engulfed the entire house, killing Manzoor’s wife Khalida and three children, 8-year-old Tayyaba, 6-year-old Hasnain and 2-year-old Ilyas on the spot.

Manzoor and his son Awais were critically injured in the blaze. The rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital.
