Three FC men martyred in attack from Afghan side
PESHAWAR/MIRANSHAH, Sept 16 (INP): Thirty-one terrorists were killed and one arrested in two separate incidents in Khyber Agency and Spinwam areas of North Waziristan Agency early on Tuesday.
According to ISPR, 20 terrorists were killed as fighter jets pounded their hideouts in Tor Darra, Kukikhel area of Tirah Valley in Khyber Agency on Tuesday.
Three hideouts of the terrorists and two ammunition depots were also destroyed in the air-strikes.
In the second incident, a group of terrorists from Afghanistan attacked a Pakistani post Dandi Kuch in Spinwam area of North Waziristan Agency.
A press release by ISPR said Pakistani troops repulsed the attack valiantly. Eleven terrorists were killed and one was apprehended. Three terrorists’ dead bodies were left behind by the fleeing terrorists that are with security forces. A militant was apprehended by the Army, officials said. Three FC soldiers also embraced Shahadat in exchange of fire. Nearly 1,100 terrorists have been killed since the operation Zarb-e-Azb began on June 15.INP
