According to the details, a concerning revelation has been made regarding the fall in the industry’s exports, which makes up the largest portion of the nation’s exports. The goal of 25 billion dollars in textile exports will not be met, according to Hamid Zaman, chairman of the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTAMA) North Punjab. There will be 16 or 17 billion dollars in exports compared to the target.
He said that between 30 and 50 percent of the textile sector had been closed entirely or in part. Release 1 lakh cotton bales that are sitting at Karachi Port; else, the industry would be shut down after 90 days. The Punjab government is cooperating, but textiles should take precedence.
