LAHORE: Despite a significant increase in the number of confirmed positive cases—to 1,576,018—Pakistan has not recorded any deaths caused by new coronavirus in the previous 24 hours. As of Thursday, 30,639 people had died nationwide.

In the past day, at least 26 persons nationwide had Covid positive tests performed, according to the most recent statistics provided by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

26 persons tested positive out of the 4,050 tests Pakistan conducted in the last 24 hours. It was calculated that 0.64 percent of Covids were positive.
