Altaf pays tributes martyrs

KARACHI (PR): MQM chief Altaf Hussain has paid tremendous tribute to the martyrs of September 30th and October 1st tragedies in Hyderabad and Karachi respectively in 1988.

In a statement issued from London Secretariat Tuesday, the MQM Chief said that both tragic incidents blackened the history of the country and the more unfortunate thing was that not a single intellectual, writer, literate and scholar came forward and condemned such heinous crimes against the humanity. He said that after 26 years, the silence of the entire nation over tragedies against Mohajirs caused them to prevail in extreme deprivation.

Altaf Hussain said that those unfortunate incidents were designed to create dichotomy between Urdu and Sindhi speaking communities. He said that the murderers and conspirators were not yet arrested. He said that the so-called writers and intellectuals kept repeating various historical incidents but never be bothered to raise voice against Mohajirs’ massacres.

The MQM Chief said that the blood of martyrs would never go waste and all the sacrifices would definitely pay off. He said through these sacrifices the movement would soon reach its destination.
