ISLAMABAD (DNA): Thousands of people, including security guards, policemen and sit-inners of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) have so far been shifted to hospitals after suffering from different diseases during the last 12 days.

According to reports, as many as 7,500 people including women and children were shifted to Islamabad’s Polyclinic Hospital on complaints of gastro, diarrhea, fever, throat infection and other diseases.

Out of the total number of the patients, 1600 were policemen.  Doctors said that due to unhygienic conditions at the places of the protests, more people are likely to fall ill.

Meanwhile, the hospital administration has cancelled routine holidays of the doctors and staff.
