RAWALPINDI: Fifteen terrorists and a soldier were killed in the ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan Agency on Saturday, the ISPR said.
The Pakistan Army Aviation gunship helicopters in their precise strikes destroyed three terrorist hideouts and four explosive laden vehicles and killed 12 terrorists in Ghorshtai Nullah area of Ghulam Khan.
Earlier in the day, during a clearance operation in Boya area of North Waziristan, an encounter took place in which three terrorists were killed and a soldier Naib Subedar Muzammil embraced Shahadat.
Operation Zarb-e-Azb was launched by the Army on June 15 following a militant attack on Karachi’s international airport and failure of peace talks between the government and TTP.INP
