ISLAMABAD (INP): The police arrested 15 suspects during a raid at a private oil company here on Sunday and recovered arms and explosives from their possession.
Sabzi Mandi police on a tip off, under the supervision of district magistrate Abdul Hadi launched crackdown on Eastern Oil Company located in sector I-10/3 of the federal capital.
During operation 15 suspects were arrested and arms including 10 pistols, four guns, three triple-two rifles, explosives and thousands of bullets were recovered.
The detainees have been shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
Meanwhile, security in the twin cities have been beefed up further in the wake of terror threats on the occasion of PTI’s ‘Azadi March’ schedule on August 14, the Independence Day.
