GHOTKI /NAWABSHAH/THATTA: About fourteen people were killed in different traffic incidents in Ghotki, Nawabshah and Thatta on Thursday.
According to details, atleast five people drowned after a car fell into a canal in Ghotki on Thursday. The speedy vehicle fell into the canal near Kamu Shaheed area.
Dead bodies of two girls and a woman were pulled out from the water whereas the car driver was rescued alive. Search for two other people is still underway.
All the people belong to the same family and belong to Bahawalnagar. They were going back to home after celebrating Eid with relatives.
Five more people were killed in a collision between a trailer and a car near Nawabshah on the National Highway. The car was going from Karachi to Sadiqabad when it was hit by a trailer coming from opposite direction.
Four more people died in Thatta in a collision between a car and a Motorcycle.
