KARACHI: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali Wednesday directed the top cops of the major cities in the province to take immediate measures against the outlawed outfits’ hatemongering activities. “Additional IG Karachi, Additional IGP Special Branch Sindh, DIGs Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur, Larkana, and Shaheed Benazirabad have been ordered to have all the flags, banners, hoardings, posters, and chalking on the walls that spread sectarian hate removed from every part of their respective cities like a shot,” an official statement issued here said.
According to the statement, Jamali had given a loud & clear message to the DIGs that he’d hear no excuse in this regard.
The IGP Sindh has also sought a compliance report from his subordinates within 24 hours. NNI
