SARGODHA: Taking a dig at his political rival, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Mian Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday said that considering Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s impulsive nature, the u-turn signs on roads should be replaced with his pictures.
“Jhootay Khan, Buhtan Khan or Ilzam Khan, whatever, you may call him, he has this habit of taking a decision one day and taking it back the other day. I suggest that all u-turn signs on roads should be replaced with his pictures,” Shehbaz said while addressing an election rally in Sargodha.
He also lambasted the PTI chief by saying that he wants to rule the country while he could not effectively run a province and wasted all his energy in criticizing PML-N.
The PML-N president said that he, as Chief Minister Punjab, worked day in and day out for the betterment of the province while his brother, former PM Nawaz Sharif, did the same in center and are the only ones demanding votes on the basis of their performance.
The PML-N president urged the people of Sargodha to vote for PML-N to get their leaders Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz released from jail and to usher into a new era of development. NNI
