Is it just me who’s infuriated from the increase in street crimes, whether mugging or pickpocketing or even armed robbery or assaults? This is happening a lot nowadays especially in the twin cities. Everyday more and more people are being stripped of their valuable possessions.
Recently, in my sector G-7 more than 15 street crimes had taken place including forceful snatching of mobile phones, wallet and motorcycles. One of the many reasons I observed that results in these street crimes is poverty and lack of jobs.
The solution for this is that police should keep a strict check and balance and deal with the criminals with an iron hand. If they are guilty of some crime they should be given deserved punishment. Secondly, the government should create job opportunities for people so that they resort to such violence.
