Oh poor Pakistan! What to say ?
Poor you? Or poor us?
Let’s have a deep glance on the dream, Yes dream “Jinnah’s dream”. Only and only Pakistan.
My heart bleeds with the tears of blood, when just all of a sudden the thrilling voice comes out of my soul, the voice that shakes me and takes me back to some sixty nine years ago where the national hero was dreaming of Pakistan.
Dream? But for whom? Unquestionably for us.
Jinnah worked hard for the formation of Pakistan with the belief that Indian Muslims would be able to share the power after freedom. Grasping his vision of a separate homeland, Jinnah’s endeavors and great struggles are not out of view, in fact uncovered.
“Unity, faith, discipline”. The peaceful nation, the true democratic state where people govern.
But where we stand?
Pakistan was admittedly not the packet of chocolate that we got with an ease. For sure, millions of people paid heavy ransom in form of sacrifices to achieve this goal in the shape free entity. Coming back to this modern era where we have that packet of chocolate in our hands but we are so unlucky that we are not able to taste its sweetness.
Pakistan “a great victory” since its emergence is facing a lot of core issues such as poverty, corruption, inflation, meddling unemployment and terrorism. As a matter of fact, the mentioned problems are increasing day by day but the worse thing is the public is calm and quiet…… why?
Have we forgotten what our Quaid has rightly said?
“If we are to exist as a nation, we will have to face the problems with determination and force”
Pakistan is free Muslim states which come into being in quite unfavorable circumstances after a huge loss of masses. “Bloodshed, casualties, massacre, carnage”. These were the sour toffees which were eaten by the true patriots for the denouement of Jinnah’s dream.
My question is, Are we the same patriots? Do we really love Pakistan? Are we actually concerned with the Jinnah’s message of unity which was given again and again by him?
Ahhhh! Wait for a while, think, think and just think……….
We as a nation have left behind the fact that Pakistan is no less than a miracle. Ohh Sorry! Quaid’s Pakistan of determination, serenity, faith, love, peace, unity, brotherhood is now full of lootmaar and hangamas. One of that hangamas is Panama Leaks, leaks of corruption, leaks of bribery, leaks of dishonesty and much more. These are the leaks in which our representatives, actually the envoys of Jinnah’s dream are declared corrupt.
Alas! We are sleeping!
The democratic public of Pakistan is in a sound sleep. On the other hand Pakistan’s political parties in opposition are demanding an accountability of the ruling party whereas the ruling party instead of presenting themselves for accountability is only trying to throw mud on opposition parties. It seems so…..
We are sleeping!
This is our leadership! It is alright! But where are the people of Pakistan, what are they doing, are they not watching this situation?
Oh I see! They are sleeping!
We are those people who have to vote for PMLN, PTI, PPP, MQM etc just because our forefathers voted for them. Why?
Where is that vision and ideology lost which created Pakistan? If we are the democratic public then why we always remain quiet and calm? This is so true that we are lacking an honest leadership as yet but question is very simple that who evaded the tax and concealed the wealth?
Oh I forgot! Our leadership is very busy in blaming others; in fact they do not have enough time to answer these simple questions. For sure this is not the Jinnah’s Pakistan.
Standing up for the Jinnah’s dream needs determination, but we are sleeping?
To cut it short, I must say that this is the wakeup call for us to raise our voice against corruption because sitting in the luxurious drawing rooms in front of big screens and watching talk shows and debates is not going to change the current circumstances. The only thing required is the true spirit and enthusiasm to get up for Pakistan. It is a golden time for us to open up our eyes and bring all of the corrupt mafia to the court of public.
Yes, it is our moral obligation to debacle the evil minds. There is nobody but we, who can bring the change. Why we always wait for somebody to come and fight for us? Why we are not fighting for ourselves? Why are we not taking into account the fact that we have to be united for the sake of Jinnah’s dream, cherished Pakistan?
We have to shake hands, come out of the basic typical mind sets , stand firm and determined for bringing back the real Pakistan.
Remember, the nations aiming to flourish, have to wake up after their long sleep. I am disappointed yet hopeful that we will serve our country with the same patriotism with which it came into being vividly.
But we have to keep in mind the fact that if in the current scenario, we prefer to sleep then the culprits will become more powerful in the days to come.
Shhhh! We are sleeping?
