ISLAMABAD: Rs 60 billion for security and rehabilitation of IDPs while 46 percent of budget reserved for development projects have been issued.
Planning commission has issued details of the funds issued in the past seven months on Friday.
Rs 320 billion out of total Rs 700 billion reserved for different development projects have been issued in the first seven months of fiscal year (FY) 2015-16, according to the planning commission.
The commission further stated that Rs 60 billion for rehabilitation of Internally Displaced Persons (IDP), Rs 35 billion for construction of roads and Rs 74 billion for betterment in energy sector have been released since beginning of the fiscal year.
On the other hand, funds worth Rs 105 billion were released for different ministries in July 2015 to January 2016 period. NNI
