LAHORE: Punjab Police produced a 13-month-old kid- holding a feeder in his hands before the anti-terrorism court (ATC) here on Wednesday a private television channel reported. The toddler along with a few others were arrested for causing serious harm to public property during a protest.
The toddler, identified with his first name Aqdas was arrested by police officials after a protest in a polling station during the second phase of local bodies election in Sheikhupura.
The ATC judge questioned the police during the hearing that how could a toddler cause damage to property? The court ruled that the matter of arrest of the toddler will be thoroughly reviewed.
On the occasion, the father of boy prayed to court to accept a bail plea ordering release of the child as he cannot live alone in police custody. The court adjourned hearing ordering the police officials to release the boy on bail.
