ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to prepare more references against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his children. These references will be filed after obtaining detailed record of the companies from Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom, sources told on Saturday.
According to sources, the record has been sought under mutual legal assistance agreement. Once the process is finalised, interim references will be moved against Nawaz Sharif, Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz after acquiring all the details.
It may be mentioned here that NAB has already forwarded three corruption references against Sharif family over which the accused have been summoned on September 19.
Earlier on Friday, the Supreme Court dismissed an appeal from Nawaz Sharif against his disqualification from the premiership over corruption allegations tied to the Panama Papers leak.
