The continued hostility from Indian on the diplomatic front against Pakistan has all but confirmed the hate the Indian leadership has for Pakistan. Over the last few months there have been a host of statements from across the border threatening Pakistan to which the response from Pakistan has been calculated but strong.
India’s dream for regional hegemony has been long unfulfilled due to Pakistan and it seems that the frustrated Indian leadership has decided to openly threat and malign Pakistan. The multi-billion China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) that is expected to propel Pakistan towards economic prosperity has proved to be a real thorn in India’s paw. India’s growing frustration at the thought of a prospering Pakistan is evident from the relentless immature statements from Indian leadership.
The military and civil leadership of Pakistan has reacted strongly to the accusations and threats leveled by India but at the same time have reaffirmed its desire to maintain peaceful relations with all its neighbouring countries. However, importantly
Pakistan has made it absolutely clear that despite Pakistan’s utmost desire of cordial relations any aggression against the country will be dealt with full force and the enemy will forever regret its decision. Indian efforts to destabilize Pakistan are no more a secret, over the past few months India’s hand in terrorist activities in Pakistan has been proved.
If India persists with its strategy to destabilize Pakistan the consequences for such deplorable acts won’t be all that pleasant. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif must also realize that economy should be a priority but the country’s defense is equally important, particularly when you have a neigbour like India which is intent on playing with fire.
The continued hostility from India is a result of Pakistan’s economic progress.
